ScotAds was a DC Thomson classified ads publication out of Aberdeen. Launched in ’94 it began to flounder in the mid 2000s. The Big Picture was commissioned to resuscitate the brand and it was relaunched with a new masthead, an online version, press, radio, POS and supported, as the brand’s health returned, with TV. Within eighteen months the paper was outselling Exchange and Mart in key Scottish regions and for a long period was (according to DCT) number one in Scotland.
